This RCI exchange is on a dirt road in Quepos. It was wonderfully quiet and we had a nice vacation. The staff is excellent and our two bedroom/two bath condo was clean and well furnished for four adults. The kitchen had a fair amount of dishes, coffee mugs, and glasses. We would have liked additional kitchen supplies, but we managed. The restaurant on the premises was good for breakfast and an evening casada, but avoid the Wednesday barbeque. I found it disgusting. We were there for two weeks and really could not have asked for a better place. The pool, although not very deep, was refreshing after an afternoon of hiking. We had a car so that we could take day trips, so I would definitely recommend that. We were close to a Maxi Pali (grocery store) and the small town of Quepos. Internet access was spotty if not completely absent. Use your devices in the lobby. This is not a resort for those looking for exciting night life, but for those who value relaxation and assimilating into the local area.

Room Tip: Seems all rooms are the same.

This property is lovely but in a terrible location. Our condo was comfortable and well appointed. We were charged an additional $75 fee for water usage and electric. Another $15 charge for Internet, they advise that it's only available at the pool or in the lobby, however for half our stay we only had internet service in the lobby.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. They arranged taxis and made restaurant recommendations and reservations for us daily.

The grounds are lovely and the pool area is well maintained. There is a swim up bar however the bartender doesn't typically show up until after 1pm. It's not very lively, she occasionally will play music, usually 80s American Music.

The resort is approximately a 3-4 hour drive from the San Jose airport. Id recommend the shuttle the resort offers for $150 each way. The hotel has a very mediocre restaurant on property so you will likely want to go to Quepos or Manuel Antonio for dinner. Taxis are approximately $20 each way. To go to the beach is is only a little less. Therefore it gets quite expensive due to the location.

While the place itself is clean and pretty to me it's not worth the hassle and expense of constant cabbing to the locals you actually want to be.

We spent a week here before moving to the arenal area. Had a fantastic stay. The place is lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It is not the most glamorous or glitzy place on earth but you feel at home here and welcome and that is worth more than a boutique hotel in my book anyday. It is a long dusty road to get there and there isn't a great choice of food but that the husband and wife do is great. Special thanks go to Roger on reception who was an absolute star. Went on 4 trips. National Park, Swamps, Catamarran, and White Water Rafting from the hotel. All fantastic but my least favourite was the National Park as it was just too busy. Book your trips through the hotel as although you can get cheaper you get what you pay for.

We stayed here for a whole week for the first time. We were trying to find a place where we can rest and this was the perfect place. Very quite, perfect service, full equipped kitchen. We went out on tours and came back to total relaxation. Pool water is always very clean and warm. We booked it via a vacation Club, therefore Elizabeth has an orientation meeting on Monday so that she can give us all the information we need during our stay. She gave us information regarding tours, groceries, transportation, cash, restaurants, etc. During this orientation she also makes us introduce ourselves so that we can know who else is staying there for the week. Her guys as she call them at the front desk are very polite and very efficient. Roger to us was the one that help us the most with tours and restaurant recommendations. My daughter turned 16 while on vacation, he not just recommended the restaurant, but told the restaurant staff about her birthday and they sang happy birthday to her and treated her so special. We also went zip lining that day and told them also about her birthday and they also made her feel very special and gave her the picture package free (Canopy Safary.) It could have not been better.

Stayed here after a 9 day tour of Costa Rica. A perfect spot to relax, although you could be very busy doing day trips. This resort is well maintained and one of the nicest Geo properties we've been at. The staff are what make it special - Roger, Michael, Oscar, Elizabeth, Jason and Jorge. They always had time to answer questions, share information, and talk about life in general in CR. We loved Ana's cooking at The Cayuga and her breakfasts at the resort. This was a perfect complement to our tour and we hope to return soon with our whole family. Pura Vida!!!
