Best experience ever

Me and my boyfriend traveled to Costa Rica and really enjoyed this property.
The food, location and amenities are top level! Really enjoyed the lobby bar on the 5th floor. Cocktails and started were delicious
Will definitely come back

Hotel Convenient !!!

This is a beautiful Hotel, built in 1930 overlooking the National theater, in downtown San Jose. Charming , but modern. Historic , but relevant! Close enough to walk to the central market , which can't be missed. The theater , right out the front door is classical. The Pre- Columbian Gold museum maybe 300 meters away is awesome.
Nightly my wife and I would walk blocks to see the night life and made sure we hit the local ice cream parlor less than a block away.
Breakfast on the 5th floor is not to be missed. The bar menu is more than adequate , especially the ceviche and the Green Mussels. .
We stayed right next to the JFK suite and some of the original is displayed on the floor lobby. 4 out of the 6 days we stayed were spent on Tours ( Rain Forrest)Volcanoes, coffee plantations and the Pacific Coast) all booked by Tico Tours within the Hotel as were our rides to and from the airport. A very nice respite .

Room tip: Hotel is arranged upside down with reception, gym, shop business and Travel on the Fifth floor.

No reason to go anywhere else

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and very comfortable. Great location downtown. The Service was wonderful. I want to specifically mention Connor and Jeffery who both went the extra mile to make our stay special. Mucho gracias! We will be back!

Wonderful hotel...

Wonderful location in the center of San José. Friendly and serviceable staff. Delicious and very complete breakfast. Comfortable room with very good amenities, including Britts expresso machine. Excellent mattress and furnishings.

Beautiful building, glass elevator and everything is up to date. Cannot recommend it enough. Very enjoyable stay.

Room tip: If you enjoy theaters, do not miss the Teatro Nacional in front of the hotel.

Amazing hotel!!

Stayed here for the weekend with some friends and would highly recommend to anyone. Beautiful hotel and rooms with exemplary service/hospitality. Great central location and all the staff was extremely helpful when it came to recommendations and tips.

Honestly for the price we paid it’s a steal and hope to be back soon!
