My husband had a tummy bug when we first arrived but within 1 hr he was already planning our return to paradise. The staff were fantastic even organising some soup that wasn’t on the menu to help his stomach.
We stayed in the beach bungalow that was gorgeous with our own private balcony with stairs leading down to the beach and a fantastic view of the sunset . A few steps from the balcony and we were snorkelling in the lagoon with the snorkel masks provided in our room.
The Manager met us everyday either in the restaurant or the bar to see how our day was going and ask if there was anything he could help us with.
All the staff were friendly and very accommodating with any needs. We were going out at 6am for a fishing charter so Lina from the restaurant organized a delivery to our room of fruit, juice and cereal since we were leaving before the restaurant opened . The breakfast in the restaurant is just sumptuous with a full al la cart menu provided.
The people of Cook Islands are very friendly and welcoming, while out on our hired scooter we stopped to get the camera out of the seat and a local stopped to make sure we were ok.
Next time we will be staying a lot longer than just 3 nights. We met a couple who were there for the third year in a row they loved the place so much, I must admit we may well do the same ,starting to plan our return already.

To arrive at a spot like this and to be treated excellent like royalty using our first name in a name picked out of a que of people as we were. The whole resort was first class and the area so beautiful in scenery and position.
The management were there to greet and advise us first of all, a first time ever for us and we have traveled .The service at the front desk was excellent for anything you required, the restaurant food and service the same and I've never seen the food and beverage manager work the floor so hard he was great. Finally the room service with new sheet and clean room every day finishing off every evening with a little gift to make you feel totally like Kings and Queens. The weather was great for us.
If you don't worry about cost this is a great experience and worth every penny.

Room Tip: Doesn't matter

The place is adorable. The lagoon is THE most beautiful place to practice snokeling.
At night there's planty of mosquitos, but, having dinner while enjoying the sunset on the lagoon is one of the most rewarding experience in a life time!
Rooms are very clean although they don't change the towels dayly.
One thing that my husband and me found out is that the staff is over controlled by the bosses...
The staff seemed to be frightened and that really got on our nerves.
One day I had to use the bathroom while a girl was cleaning up... I asked her to stop and relax for a few minutes, but she said she HAD to clean everything up at Dutch because someone else were supposed to report her job...
Another day we were spending some time with the bar-tender while she received a phone call by the boss who was watching us from the restaurant... She immediatelly changed attitude and she invited us to have a sit in a different table. We would have understood that if there were people around waiting to order or to get what they ordered... but there wasn't anybody around but us...
Anyway the hotel is beautiful and we recommed it!!

We stayed here for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. On arrival at the airport we were greeted with flower garlands and check in was completed smoothly and included an introduction from the manager himself. We were upgraded to one of the 3 'villas' on the resort. We didn't see inside any other accommodation but this was beautiful.

Set up high above the beach with a deck right across the building and huge glass windows we got wonderful views and total privacy. A stone stairway led straight down to the beach where deckchairs were set out. The villa was furnished very well and fully equipped with everything you could need.

We thought we would eat elsewhere but we ate in the Rapae Bay restaurant each night and the food was of high quality even if it was quite expensive. We also enjoyed island night with a traditional buffet and music and dancing. Breakfast was included in our deal and ordered from a menu (you could order as much as you liked). This was also delicious and filling. There's also a cafe which served tasty snacks.

We snorkelled straight from the beach and saw lots of fish and coral and there were kayaks available for free too. We chose to go kitesurfing as well with SouthPacific kitesurfing on Honeymoon island and had a wonderful time with Michael and his team there.

A special mention should go to all the staff at Pacific Resort who really do make your holiday effortless and do so in a very unobtrusive way. You could meet them further in the afternoon mini events where we learnt about cocnuts and even husked and split one and also made a flower garland to wear for island night.

We had a wonderful time here and would certainly recommend it to others!

We have just returned from Aitutaki Pacific Resort. The Stay was the highlight of our trip. The rooms are gorgeous and each room is separately snuggled into the tropical landscape.
The rooms are spacious and very well appointed and ours had a beautiful private terrace and outside shower. The staff were very committed to providing the best guest experience and were constantly trying to exceed expectations.
Cant wait to go back.
