This is one of the quietest places I’ve ever stayed. The beach hut was small but nicely decorated in island prints with a small kitchen, bathroom and large balcony looking onto the beach – great for watching the sunsets.
The safe deposit box didn’t work and the fridge was warm most of the time.
The beach is nice and clean although a lot of broken coral and shells so you have to be careful walking around. There are a few sun loungers on the beach.
There are no staff around in the daytime so you need to call if you need anything so at times you feel a bit stranded but that isn’t always a bad thing. There isn’t a lot near the Paradise Cove so without transport there aren’t many options.
The fish and chip shop next door is good when it’s open (not often). It’s a 15 min walk down a very dark road to the nearest restaurant (Taman) so take a good torch/flashlight.
There are bikes to borrow for free and mopeds for rent.
The only really gripes about this place were the aggressive mosquitos and the very loud cockerels who crow when they feel like and have a habit of wandering under the beach huts while being vocal.More
