Our family of 4 (two adults, two teens) stayed 3 nights in one of the larger cabins. Comes standard with two twins pushed together to make a king, and a twin. They had already set up a twin cot for us, and the twin beds had cozy down comforters. Beds are upstairs, twins in one room, king in the other with a door between them. Stairs were a bit steep so if that's an issue this might not be the cabin for you. This cabin (The Brooks Falls cabin) also had two sets of bathroom facilities which was nice for our family of 4. There's also a mini fridge, microwave, and a set of dishes you can use. Also, main level has a couch, coffee table, chair. Plenty of room for a family. There's wifi but it didn't work very well.
The corners of the cabin could use a bit more attention-a bit dirty, dead bugs here and there, a bit of mold on the shower curtain, etc. If you are finicky like one of my teen daughters this might bother you, but it wasn't a big deal to the rest of us, and it wouldn't keep me from staying here again. Also, there was no daily housekeeping. Not an issue for us, but just something to note.
Staff is very friendly-gave us more towels when we checked in without us even asking, and also brought us plastic cups in case we wanted them. There are two chairs outside cabin door for sitting on the porch.
We stayed here while going on a bear viewing trip with Emerald Air, which operates from here, which we highly recommend. But also a good location for Homer in general. Close to spit, Bishops Beach, restaurants. Enjoyed our stay.
