My family stayed here for 4 nights in July. the cabin was very clean, functional and comfortable. They even replenished the charcoal when we ran out. It is a lovely setting away from the crowds. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas, including fishing, hiking, beach combing, etc. Robyn was great to work with and it all went very smoothly. We hope to come back again!

Cabins look new, everything in great working order & very clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find the small kitchenette fully stocked w/cooking & dinning necessities. Worked perfectly for our stay- I was able to cook for the kids while my husband went fishing just down the road. The back door in the bedroom was very convenient for my husband to come back late from fishing & not disturb the kids(1 & 2 yrs old) sleeping in the main room of the cabin. Each cabin has freezer if you are fishing, large trash cans outside, porch w/chairs & picnic table -very thoughtful, nice touches that make you feel well cared for! Do note that you will have a short walk to the cabins - we arrived in pouring rain & were soaked after 2 trips back & forth to the car... However it is nice that we are not hearing parking lot noise at the cabin. Very peaceful, grounds are well maintained.
Robin was very nice & easy to work with.
I would absolutely stay here again & highly recommend Aspen Hollow to my friends!

My wife and I stayed in one of the cabins for 5 nights in June 2013. The cabins (six in all) are a little off the beaten track - about 15 miles south of Soldotna the main town in the area . Aspen Hollow is well situated for trips to Kenai and Homer and close to the mouth of the Kasilof River. The cabin we stayed in was fully equipped with a cooker, fridge, microwave etc and a good size dining table. The cabin was very clean and serviced daily. There is even a laundry on site. The location is really peaceful and we were surprised that only one or two of the other cabins had guests staying. We would strongly recommend Aspen Hollow if you are on the lookout for accommodation in the area - it is well worth the drive from Soldotna.

Room Tip: We stayed in a one bedroom cabin but there are bigger cabins for families.

Stayed for one night with the husband and kids. We were in the Aspen 2 cabin. Great cabin. Main room had a couch (with a pull out bed) and a recliner. Small kitchen area and a four seat table. Second room had a very comfy queen bed with 2 nightstands. Back porch had 2 chairs that backed up to the woods. Every cabin has a small chest freezer on the front porch and a small picnic table available. Kids loved being able to explore a little and being out in the wilderness. This is a wonderful place to stay for a night or for an extended stay. Can't wait to visit again.
