My new husband and I came to Bora Bora for the very first time for our honeymoon! This resort has treated us very well! It’s so beautiful, fun, relaxing, and everyone has been beyond welcoming. It has been a pleasure to be surrounded by such kind staff members that make this experience all the better. Donata T specifically has stood out in making our time here enjoyable. Her kind and friendly spirit has made us feel so at home and her welcoming smile is always appreciated! Our overwater bungalow is surreal and has the most breath taking views. We learned that this hotel was the first on the Moto and therefore has the best view of the main island. The food here has been amazing and we are already looking into our next trip back. High words of praise to this resort and all who work here. Our honeymoon has been the best!

We stayed for a week and it was amazing the whole time. The staff were very friendly and took the time to talk to us (especially in the restaurants), the food was excellent, the room was clean and really well laid-out, wifi was great, the turtle hospital talk was interesting, and the folk in the shops were friendly as well. That, combined with the outstanding location, made it unforgettable. It reminded us of Le Meridien on Isle de Pins which was also impressive when we were there in 2015.

Room Tip: If you can't swim you might want to ask for an overwater bungalow closer to the shore so you can stand up in the water.

We loved our room. The food was ok. It was over priced for what you get. My husband went deep sea fishing and caught a fish. He brought it back and had the chef cook it. We asked for the whole thing to be served to our group. We were served very tiny pieces. We asked multiple times for the rest of it. Saw it served to table behind us. Then asked again and no one brought it. Asked again as we were leaving and they brought us some little thin pieces that were not even seasoned the same as our fish we had to pay to catch and then pay to have cooked for us. This was very dishonest and disappointing. The staff that lived locally were very friendly and helpful! Everyone is in bed by 9PM :(
Mostly french speaking guests. Employees know English though!

We had a fabulous start to our honeymoon! As I emailed them in advance that we would be there for our honeymoon, they really took this on board with providing us champagne and gifts! Our overwater bungalow was also for preferred their guests so we really felt special! The room was breathtaking with the glass view of the sea below, we would look at it at night to try and see some fishes. You can also walk to a little island (Motu) which was very fun.

The staff were professional and friendly which made me very comfortable and assured they are putting an effort for guests to have a good stay.

Lots of options for breakfast and kept us full until dinner!

It would have been nice if there were free transfers to the main island during the day but that didn’t really bother us that much.

Would definitely recommend for honeymoon even if it’s for a night!

We had the most wonderful time with Torin in the Turtle Healing Center thanks to Heipua at the concierge desk. Ours was a last minute weekend booking, after having sailed to Bora Bora and wanting a break from full time boat life. Our timing was not good for participating at the healing center’s normal program hours, but after explaining our limited timing to Heipua, she called Torin, head of the turtle center, and made arrangements for us to participate in a “Healing hour”. Torin was wonderful about teaching us the turtles being cared for there. Teaching us how to help care for the turtles. Then taking us for a snorkel in the lagoon during the turtle’s excercise time.

All of the staff was welcoming and helpful at Le Meridien, Bora Bora. They even gave us a complimentary upgrade. Our room was not as Posh as our friends who stayed at the Newer Conrad. There was a problem with the back door and interior woodwork, sadly, was looking a little tired. But every thing was clean and orderly in our room. The property was beautifully maintained. The water views amazing!

I will remember my time at the Turtle Center with fondness the rest of my life.
