First let me start by saying that this is probably the nicest and friendliest B&B we have ever stayed in on all our travels. We actually stayed here 3 different times during our recent Alaska trip. Each night we stayed in the Arctic Rose room which was wonderfully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The rate was very reasonable considering it is Alaska and nothing is inexpensive. It was well worth it and the next time we visit the area we will stay here without a second thought. Carol treated us and the other guests just like family and to top it off she made an amazing hot breakfast! The property was beautifully landscaped and went all the way down to their dock on the lake. The location is north of busy Anchorage about 45 mins. and is a good central point for doing both the Denali area to the north and the Kenai Peninsula to the south. The Iditarod HQ and museum is just down the road. We are very happy we stayed here and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
