We stayed one night for the kickoff of a Classic Car Caravan. The resort is undergoing much-needed renovations so it was a little difficult to navigate and find the check-in area. Staff seemed friendly enough and helped the elderly in the group with their luggage, however golf carts would have been helpful to shuttle folks to the parking lot. We enjoyed an all-you-can eat buffet dinner and breakfast in the Opera Hall, which was good (not spectacular). The Hall offers plenty of space for organizations and large groups. There was about 50-60 people in our group. The sound system echoed and half the room couldn't hear the speaker so eventually we stopped using it.
The scenery is beautiful and it's very quite and peaceful at the resort. Love the walk-in shower and large counters. The rooms were very large and spacious but the iPod station was outdated and therefore useless for charging our iPhone 5/6. And for the price, the rooms should include a mini fridge. Hopefully these amenities will be added with the renovations. More
