We chose this restaurant because of Tripadvisor. Not being local we were looking for something relaxed before we made our way back to Port Elizabeth airport, and Johannesburg. We took a leisurely drive to Kenton and then Grahamstown . The restaurant overlooks the school grounds and has a " colonial" feel - lots of wood ( the long bar is spectacular ), and memorabilia on the walls. Nice menu - the thin base pizza was awesome. Menu caters for all. Good service. All in all a great lunch.

A fun experience, jolly, lively, (loud) with very friendly owners and welcoming and obliging staff. Food good too.

This buzzy venue is popular with the locals. Really nice bar area and an enormous fireplace. There is also a ver nice outdoor eating area which overlooks the school and the grounds. Good, light meals are served.

A beautiful venue that needs serious attention to ambience, I felt as if I was enterring a runway at An international. Airport with dozens of 50watt hakogens blasting forth and wasting valuanke energy, Grahamstown there are LED alternatives, and dinner is a subtle pleasure, no need for the laboratory brightness over the tables. Overall disappointing, this could be so much more charming and elegant, the farmhouse furniture was lit up like a retail store. food was ok, the house red wine named Some.extravagent name was terrible, a cheap Porcupine.Ridge would be better.
