This property comprises about 4 separate buildings, we were in cottage pie, and our room was enormous. A lovely en suite and big bedroom with TV and WIFI. Lovely gardens and the views along the coast were amazing. Plett beach is very long and sandy and a walk along it taking 30 minutes strolling will take you to the town. It is quite a small resort, with 2 pools, we had one in Cottage pie, the other is on the roof of the main building. There is an honesty bar with a good choice of wines, beers and other drinks, and 2 good roof terraces for sunbathing on or watching the sun go down. It is a very peaceful place, with attentive staff and good food.

Room tip: No lifts, some rooms have sea views.

We stayed here for two nights in February and it was just wonderful. At first we had a room in the Cottage Pie at the back of the hotel.Work was being carried out on our second day but we were moved to a front room with veranda and sea view. Both rooms were very comfortable and clean.Breakfast was nice,we also had a dinner and it was perfect.Staff could not do enough for us. They also had a " honesty bar" which meant you helped yourself to drinks and marked it down in the bar book and settled up when you left, the same happened with your room bar.We would highly recommend this hotel and if you really want a room with a view a front upper floor directly in front of the beach just wonderful.

Room tip: Front room with veranda with outstanding sea and beach view

The potential to be great. If you don't mind being a 10 minute drive from Plettenberg then it's a quiet position opposite a beautiful beech. The service was cheerful but I exacting. Towels, flannels, teabags all had to be requested. The breakfasts were only average- no fruit other than melon etc.
The staff were lacking in advice and enthusiasm for the local ares.

Our room was ocean view on the ground floor it was small and in need of detailing. The lodge seem in need of more staff as those that are there are multitasking and in constant hurriedness, the breakfast servers cannot keep up with the amount of people. The location is on a beautiful beach but very strong surf if you like ocean a swimming you have to drive to central beach. This lodge is nice but not a luxury rating.

This place is listed as a five star B&B. - it is!. Its set in the perfect location right on the sea front and has views across the Plettenberg Bay. The staff are so helpful. Each new arrival is greeted warmly and offered a drink and then taken through an overview of the area, including the best places to eat and drink.

Our room was clean a tidy and the fridge was stocked with drinks. The place has a nicely stocked "honesty" bar and the lounge has stunning views. Breakfast is first class and if you arrange an evening meal you will not be disappointed.

I'd recommend.
