Owner description: Lush coastal forest and grassland is home to vast herds of African game, including White Rhino, Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala, Bontebok, Lechwe and many more species. All the animals roam freely, unrestricted in natural surroundings. This owner operated animal friendly park, where no hunting or other disturbance of the game is permitted, means that you always get close up views and great photo opportunities. Take a drive in your own vehicle through the park on the well-maintained roads and enjoy viewing the game in any weather conditions from the comfort of your car. For those really close encounters, choose the 2 hour guided tour in an open Landrover with a professional guide providing you with interesting information on the animals and the historical background to the area.

Kragga Kamma is a rather small Game Area where you can spot some animals in Port Elisabeth. You won’t be able to see the big 5 but rhinos, buffalos and cheetahs are pretty much guaranteed. The whole park can be driven by in about 1,5h in a regular sedan. The coffee place didn’t have a working coffee machine.
Kragga Kamma is not the most complete Safari experience, but for sure is one of the cheapest and easiest the region of PE.

Accompanied Dutch journalists on a Game Drive at Kragga Kamma Game park. The park is situated on the outskirts of Port Elizabeth. The Game Ranger Terry was very knowledgeable regarding the animals. A highlight was observing the the Cheetah rehabilitation program. Very soon the Park will accommodate 4 lions that have been rescued from Ukraine. The lions will be in a specially created enclosure. The staff are well trained and the service is excellent.

A quaint little game park right on my doorstep. Took grandkids and saw ample animals without them getting bored.

It's the wild right on on our suburban doorstep.
We've been lucky to see a lot of animals when driving thru. It's a relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon and keeps the kids out your hair at the same time. The kids love spotting the animals and ticking them off and compete to see who sees which animals first.
Afterwards if you hungry you can stop in at their restaurant and fill your empty spot with one of their delicious meals or if like us u prefer to pull up a camp chair and make a fire you have this option as well. There is a playground for the kids right by the picnic/braai spots so u can still keep an eye on them while u braai.
The toilets are close by, about a 2min walk from the braai area.
Another fantastic opportunity here is to go into the cheetah cage if you feel brave enough lol. They also have a section were you can stand and watch when the rangers feed the cheetahs which the kids love.
If you live in PE they have annual cards which are really worth purchasing as you can go to the game park as many times in the year as you like. A real saving if this is something you enjoy.

You don't have to travel far to see all sorts of animals. We were privileged to see the cheetah's being fed.
