Delicious empanadas, steak always fantastic with a top notch chimichurri, the deserts very argentinean, panqueque con dulce de leche is a must. Great place to hang out too, watch a rugby game or a world cup match

Situated in a vibey part of downtown JHB , Che adds the flavor with its crackling fires , tempting aromas and spacious setting. We asked the owner , Bernardo , for a tour of the fire-pit ( recommended ) and then requires that he serve us whatever he would recommend ( also recommended ). He did not disappoint starting us off with cerviche , tasty mini mince pies and a smoky cheese kebab. This was followed by a meat platter bedecked with pork belly ( outstanding ) , short rib , rib eye and rump all of which were very good. Sides included spicy chips and a a tangy salad and wine by the glass came in generously sized glasses which made for a pleasant change. Service was terrific and will definitely be back.

Had a birthday lunch here - bar was a little slow to start which was quite frustrating. Ordered a tapas mix starter - tuna tartare was superb but too little tuna and the fried prawns although very tasty were swimming in something??

Mains of course was meat (be careful the menu on the website is different to the live one) - we ordered the Aranita (Spider) steak - from the inside hip (a cut you cant find in Google). Very expensive in relation to the rest but when in Argentina .... I say dont do it. Stick with a sirloin or a rib eye - the fancy disappointed!! What was worse is the rare steak i ordered was served on a cold plate and had to be sent back and of course once returned was well done!!! the fries were superb - gotta have those.

Also a string of stuff not available which is always disappointing

I had a late lunch here and had a delicious meal. The server recommended a couple of steaks to me and I was mulling it over when the owner came over to chat. The steak came out rare, just how I like it, and it was flavorful enough that I didn't use the sauce that came with it.

The place was packed when we were there for dinner. Great food but the acoustic makes for a noisy dinner.
