Good tasty food , their paratas , chicken tikka etc really good so are the variety of curries not too spicy but can request more spicy or less .advantage is that they deliver to surrounding building etc as the area is not too nice and too many vagrants etc hanging around

Excellent service, amazing food!
Definitely better than well-known restaurants in Durban for Indian/ Pakistani food.
Try their aloo and cheese paratha, nihari, chicken biryani and harissa

One evening during our stay on North Beach in Durban, we were tired and went looking for "just a quick bite". On the first parallel street behind Snell Parade we found this little gem of a genuine neighbourhood restaurant and take- away. When locals queue for it, is always a good sign, isn't it?

We ordered Prawn Curry, Bindhi Gosht, Chicken Karai and naans to share between the two of us. Absolutely finger- licking delicious and at bottom prices. The Pakistani owner went out of his way to explain the menu, and even - when asked kindly - served us lassis which were not on the menu. We were more than happy with our chosen dishes as well as the quick and friendly service - even though the kitchen was obviously very busy with takeawaý orders.

Actually we enjoyed our meal so much that we came back two nights later, dropping our plans for a dinner at a highly- rated restaurant and instead had another fabulous and filling meal at Master Chef's with Chicken Dhal, again the Prawn Curry, and Mutton Nihari.

When you run a restaurant and call it Master Chef you are obliged to provide something special, and - quite in contrast to the nothing-out-of the-ordinary physical environment - the Master Chef did.

The restaurant is a hidden pearl which is waiting to be found. Highly recommended!
