The first time we went there was in February this year for my 75th birthday. In October we took our overseas visitors for a day out. It was a glorious day and the views from the dining hall were great. All meat dishes were tasty but my brother-in-law who is a vegetarian was a bit disappointed. There is not much choice for vegetarians and what is on offer is not traditional Indian but more of western style. I suppose one cannot expect a specifically Western restaurant to serve quality Indian food.

Dear 42Gill

Thank you for visiting us again, this time with overseas visitors. We are delighted that you had a perfect day with great views and that you enjoyed the meat dishes. We are sorry that our vegetarian options did not meet your expectations – our chef has noted your comments.

We do hope that the vegetarian option has not deterred you from bringing more guests to our restaurant, please let us know when you visit again.

Kind Regards

Luxurious accommodation with friendly staff and great views. The in season rates is expensive as one would expect of this class of accommodation. However the out of season rate is good value for money. The room was the best I've ever stayed in. The "partial" view of the sea was better than I've ever seen before from a hotel room. The room was spacious with a king size bed, a couch and chairs and ample cupboards. The bathroom was very spacious with a modern bath and two modern sinks. The shower had two shower heads and was large enough for 4 people to shower comfortably. Ample large white bath towels, gowns as well as beach towels and a beach bag was provided. The body soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner smelled divine and was of good quality. The breakfast wasn't the best ever, but was ample and had sufficient hot and cold variety. The coffee was better than the breakfast.

Room Tip: All room are good

Beautiful hotel, stayed in suite 7 (request this if booking in advance). Unreal ocean views! Hotel literally on a cliff, over the ocean! All staff very courteous and professional. We had SBU served us mid afternoon, and (forgive me if wrong) I think amekala (young girl) serve us dinner and everything was brill. Food was excellent. Secure parking. Must have been low season as not too many other guests but all in all a lovely hotel for a night stay before we moved on.

Honeymoons are a once in a lifetime memory, we are delighted you chose to spend your stop on the Garden Route with us.

We are thrilled that you had a great time, enjoyed our beautiful honeymoon suite, views, that the service and food exceeded your expectations.

We do hope that you took back home fond memories of South Africa and that one year you will want to celebrate a wedding anniversary with us.

We wish you all the best for your future life together.

Man how can i be so stupid to re visit a hotel that lacks professionalism man. Would someone kick me in the a..sssss.well i promissed myself not to visit them again unless its by force. When i have a meal i want to be left alone having a good quality conversation with my wife , not to be bothered, by waiters managers that keeps asking if things are ok .if they were not ok , i would get there att and tell them. Seems i must first have a complete conversation with my wife at home, and have my meal with interuptions at hotel , and complete my c ones were at home. Food prices has gone up .Quality down.
Ye what can i say. The same as my overseas friends.for overseas visitors theg might like it . But the lamb shank ask enricos how to prepare lamb shank he knows. Its the best.
