Our second visit and a noticeable improvement in service. Last year the restaurant, for example, was not well managed at breakfast with long waits for service, staff not seeming to take much initiative and outages on the buffet. This year, attentive and enthusiastic staff who seemed to really know what they were doing. Reception staff remain good.
The big change we noticed was over the weekend. On Sunday in particular there seemed to be a lot of non-residents around which put too much pressure on the facilities. They were also louder than the majority of mid-week residents which made the hotel feel less exclusive and stylish.
