We were unexpectedly put in Suite 1 which was a large cottage ( with lounge) and a private swimming pool in our own garden. It was absolutely amazing. The bathroom even had its own exercise bike! The breakfasts were very good and we ate in the restaurant for two nights as well. The food and ambiance were great. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We were not impressed with the Cango caves but we certainly were by this hotel. Wonderful!

Room Tip: Have a suite - worth every penny.

This really had a wow factor. The location is stunning, as was the service, the staff were all friendly and relaxed. At the edge of town so we stayed for dinner and it was very good. Not a lot to do in the area (Mainly centred around Ostriches) but as we only had one night this wasn’t a problem to us. The complementary car wash was a nice touch too. If you are staying in this area then this is the place to stay.

This place is nice enough although rather twee and a little on the formal side for us. Rooms are in individual buildings with verandahs arranged around a grassed central courtyard, Hi-de-Hi style. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

We experienced an excellent welcome, a nice breakfast service with options to eat inside or out and a restaurant with a varied and interesting daily menu. The food here was good although served rather formally.

The pool was of a reasonable size, nicely located and appeared to be heated - although we didn’t quite have the weather or time to use it unfortunately.

Although towards the edge of town, there are several dining options nearby and a walk into town is an easy 20 minute affair.

We didn’t particularly rate Oudtshoorn and would not recommend leaving the garden route to visit. The caves are spectacular and the Ostrich Show Farms a bit different, but we didn’t find anything else unique to interest us, maybe we missed something?

Stayed here for 2 nights, it is very pretty with lovely gardens and a pretty swimming pool area. The rooms are around a grass courtyard and fine, if a bit dark, as I didn’t unpack fully I struggled to find things in my case as not enough light. The staff were all excellent and very friendly and helpful, the lad behind the bar kept my husband entertained discussing golf and cricket, which they both enjoyed. The man on reception picked us up from a restaurant too. The downside, the WiFi is just not good enough, my husband has to work and we really struggled!

We recently stayed at this hotel on our trip down the Garden Route. The setting was beautiful. The rooms were decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The service was excellent and the staff friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend a visit.
