Sambo is a great place for family gatherings, it may be birthdays, homecomings or just a Sunday family lunch or dinner. The place is big and tables are ample to accomodate the family. Clean sorroundings and the food is great. There are many choices, Japanese or Korean food. I love the salmon sashimi, tempura, beef to grill and their new offerings. Just go there early because the line will be long very quickly.

Really love their Korean foods especially their Korean BBQ it's the best. I love their desserts and drinks. I love the way they treat those who celebrate birthdays with them, they sing for them and sometimes they dance. They are really courteous and cheerful people!

We usually visit sambokojin every other Friday. My friend and I love to spend time eating here in Sambokojin. We do have the Sambojokin Card. They served a Japanese and Korean Cuisine. I really love the food, especially their women, California maki, sushi, samgyeopsal, kimchi, fresh fruits, fresh juices and the salad was so crispy. One thing that I don't like is we need to wait for almost 4 hours to be seated yet the long waiting was worth it though. The waiters were so nice and approachable. We just love their food.

Sambokojin a buffet which offers a wide range of food

How to get there (coming from Manila)
Take a bus or fx (uv express) from Lawton Terminal going to SM Southmall and alight at the mall itself.

The restaurant is inside the mall.

Location: Its a mall so after you eat you can either go shopping or watch a movie or just stroll around. It gets crowded once in a while but be assured that its airconditioned both inside the mall and inside the restaurant.

Food:

Tonkatsu - crucnchy and crispy served hot and best paired with the tonkatsu sauce with sesame seeds which you get to pound on your own.

Tempura - the shirmp is fresh and the breading is light. It still gives you a fresh taste of the shrimp eventhough there is breading. Paired with the tempura sauce and best mixed with a hint of ginger on the sauce

Sashimi - fish is fresh and the cuts are just right. you can still taste the freshness of the fish and still have the ocean feel while eating it. This is best paired with soy sauce with some lime and some wasabi.

Maki - i choose to have the california maki since it has mango just to balance the taste. Perfectly made and rolled and it does not fall off when dipped in the soy sauce.

Chicken - some what a spanish-type chicken with some pepper on the marinate. This is cooked with some tomatoes and some spanish herbs. best paired with rice.

Galbi Jjim (beef stew) - a korean beef stew with some mushroom and potato- the beef is tender and the sauce or the broth is tasty

Korean Hot pot - includes spicy sea food some dumplings and a spicy soup.

Roast Pork Belly - close to a filipino lechon. The crispy skin will want you to go grab some more. The meat is tender and you can really taste the herbs placed inside while it is roasted - like lemon grass

Bibimbap - a korean style of rice meal with a meat and veggeis with an egg on top which is best mixed with the other portions.

Salad - they serve salad which you can create on your own. I had the romaine with some vinegarette and some sesame oil dressing

desserts

Ice Cream - you can never go wrong with ice cream they serve 3 flavors when we were there - vanilla strawberry and green tea.
I dont like the green tea though it taste like leaves.

Japanese Cheesecake - a cold type cheesecake. The smell is nice and the taste is so sweet but light.

Tarts- tart shells are soft and chewy and the filing is nice and sweet.

Cakes - they have a variety of cakes from ube (purple yam) to simple cupcakes and a special green tea cake.

Come with an empty stomach and come out with a full one. The price is just right.

It has a lot of food selection. Good for people with a big appetite. Good service. I think the price is a little more expensive than before but its still worth your while.
