Initially when we arrived at this seafood hub I was a little put out. There were about 5 restaurants in all with spruikers outside of each ready to swarm potential customers and escort them into their respective restaurant. I found Yatai to be the least intrusive and they had the most diverse range of dishes also. Essentially, the unique process was that you chose the dishes you wanted from the menu and the restaurant would purchase it from the seafood store that was central in the hub. So you paid first for the fresh seafood and then the cost of the cooking by the restaurant. There was six of us in total so we ordered quite a few dishes and what we couldn't finish was packed for us to take home. The price was reasonable and the service good if not a little too much on the hovering side at times. Overall a unique experience and very good food.
