Me and my friend spent fours nights. The hotel is very clean and has a nice roof terrace where you can eat, have a drink or just relax. It is located in the city centre so you just need 2 min to walk to the city markt, 10 min to the train station and 5 min to take the boats to visit the islands (Farol, Culatra...)
We got a room on the first floor so every night till around 01:00 was really noisy (there is one Indian restaurant just opposite to the hotel) In the mornings you will not need an alarm clock because just around the corner there is a cafe which opens at 07:30. You will hear all the gossips of the village early in the morning!
In our room there was no toilet (we had a shower), so we had to share one with other guest on the corridor (always clean) You can't pay with your credit card (seems to be very common in the Algarve)
I hope to be back in Olhao very soon but I will try to find another place to sleep and rest well
