We paid for an upgrade but when we arrived we were shown to an attic room with sloping ceilings and 3 flights of stairs, we asked to be moved because of my husbands disability and this was done immediately. It was coming up to end of season and all staff seemed jaded and only looking forward to going home. There was a Turkish wedding whilst there so 400 extra people arrived and all other guests were shoved to a tiny area near the bar to accommodate them. We had 3 days of pouring rain which brought rats into the snack bar but food was still being served, the food in the main restaurant was repetitive but good although cold and served by staff so portions were small. For dog lovers the 2 German shepards on site are lovely and good for a tickle as all they do is sleep. The rooms are dated but kept very clean, bathrooms are small so you bang your elbows on the shower cubicle all the time. We've gone to Turkey for 14 years and we've stayed in worse places but we've also stayed in better 4* accommodation. Stay away from the Paragliding, in the 10 days we were there 17 accidents occurred and more than 1 was fatal also be careful walking along the seafront as this is where they land.

I was with a mixed family party ranging from 3 years to 76 years. part of our group had been before when this hotel only served B&B customers.
The hotel was clean and although the decor at room level was a little dated it was serviceable. There was a small step up into the bathroom area which was the cause of a stumble for me, resulting in a black eye, so i would advise extra care.
The food was plentiful although often not as hot as it could be. There were plenty of salads and a variation of fish, poultry and meat.
The pool was very cold as we were staying durring the last week of the season, although it was tiled and clean there was a potential to slip.
One of our concerns was the medical cupboard at the small childrens play area, it was unlocked and could be reached by children if they climbed on the table. The 3 year old brought us a bottle that had been left on the table. unmarked, looked like an old calpol bottle with the lable removed. This bottle contained some sort of antiseptic i think. The staff were appolergetic but it reappeared a few nights later.
Disapointingly there was no hotel based entertainment and the bars and restaurants were rapidly closing for the end of season. The staff in all areas were very efficient and keen to help.
A free bus to the hotel beach was great although food and beverages at the beach had to be paid for, although sunbeds and parasols were free. The beach was sandy an had views across the blue lagoon. This was great and we all enjoyed it as it was so much more relaxing and quiet then being around the pool. There was a tenis court, pool table, table tennis, and darts equiptment was available from the hotel, some may have needed updating. the hotel also had its own hair dresser, shop and Turkish bath centre. A games room and reading area was also available. We took our selves to the local market available, this was cheeper then the excursions offered, and avoided all other excursions on offer. The photographer at the hotel took many beautifull picture and although expensive we got them and the disc, Don't take the origenal first price asked... negociate for a better deal. This was an ok holiday for the money we paid.

For an all inclusive and at the rates this isn't a bad deal. If you want wow then don't go, if you want straight forward then its fine. Food was a bit repetitive, glad we only went for one week. Plenty of it and very fresh - salads good. not a lot of meat and very little fish - so limiting for veggie or fish eaters.
Accommadation was clean, early morning call at 5.15 from the local mosque behind wasn't great - but managed to go back to sleep, probably thanks to the plenty of free drink supplied at the bar! Only beer, wine ad few spirits - but that was fine.
Burgers by the pool were really nice.
Spa was great worth the extra £20 for treatment that lasted nearly 2 hours! very relaxing.

Room Tip: don't get the loft rooms in high summer would be very stuffy.

Great experience at this all inclusive hotel. We stayed from the 26th October for the week and could not fault the hotel experience at all. We had a 12 year old who enjoyed himself thoroughly. We had friendly staff, food was great if you wanted to experience local quinine like we did although they do do some English dishes. Anyway we came back today (3rd) November 2012 and have booked again for next year already

enjoyed two weeks at this hotel at the end of September. The hotel is kept very clean inside and outside. The rooms are a good size with a large shower and plenty of storage in the bedroom ,balconys are small but big enough for a table and two chairs plus handy clothes airer.
The food was good although not a big selection of hot food, but the salad bar was very good,it was nice that the main course was served by chefs so always looked fresh and nicely set out. There was a barbecue once aweek out on the grassed area which was also very good.We went to the al a carte resaurant once and it was excellent well worth the money,we had booked for our 2nd week to go again but unfortunately we had a storm and the restaurant is outside.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor well away from the Dorian Hotel
