Description: The Food Factory is the new restaurant of the celebrity Chef Tomas Kalika. Located in the heart of Palermo Hollywood; with an eclectic proposal and transgressive and rebellious spirit, full of surprises… The Food Factory became a "must" for “good restaurants lovers”.

We stayed just around the corner from the food factory and triied a couple of times to eat there. The first time was about 5.30pm after getting off delayed flight and having had no lunch. We were told that the only food we could have was the cold sandwiches on the menu. Next time we tried was about 12.15pm the following day, and we were presented only with the breakfast menu. I realise that coming from Britain, we're not used to eating as late in the day as the Argentinians eat, but we really wanted to try their lunch menu. Finally, we arrived about 1340 the following day and were greeted with a packed restaurant. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, during which they offered us a small glass of very yummy homemade lemonade. When we got our table, we were brought out a lovely homemade foccaccia loaf with butter. We shared a starter and main and it was plenty of food for us both - the serving sizes are pretty massive. The wait-staff were a little hard to attract, but efficient. They brought out the wrong main, which we sent back (the beef burger instead of the chicken sandwich) so we waited a little longer for our main, but it was tasty when it arrived. Give them their dues too, they gave us 10% off the bill because of the error.

We went to have Sunday brunch at TFF and had the buffet plus scrambled egg, sausage and bubbly.

While I understand some places emphasize the "cool" aspect, this can be done preserving friendliness and service efficiency. Here it wasn't. It took us quite some effort to have our orders taken and to get explanations about the menu (arguably a simple task).

The food quality was good - although the buffet quickly ran out of some options that were not replaced in the remaining half hour we were there. The bubbly only came at the end of the meal, when we wondered what might have happened to it.

The place has potential, but needs to improve its service consistency.

This place is great for brunch, they literally have the best eggs benedict in the city, served with edible flowers! Service was on the slow side but very friendly, also they had a lot of outdoor seating which was nice, and everything was very professional. One thing to miss was the salmon Tiradito, just not good. Prices were very normal for Palermo, though on the lower end probably. I do recommend, and definitely better than oui oui across the street!

After having a boring lunch we walked to this place for coffe and dessert and it was very good, excellent coffe and we had the apple crumble and it was delicious. Everything looked great too bad I had already eaten.
What I liked also is that they have a nice outdoor terrace in a sort of side open space.

Service was ok, food tasted good but they wanted to be American and didn't quite pull it off. Reasonally priced, very clean.
