You can't beat the location, and the staff are helpful. But the busloads of young children that came through were very noisy and the hotel walls are not thick enough to contain them. Ear plugs a must!

Room Tip: I was on the 8th floor facing away from the main Avenue, not sure it helped. Floors are small.

Despite its excelent location, near the Obelisc, on walking distance to Puerto Madero and other city centre attractions the hotel has many things that need to get better.

To start with breakfast which has few options and little variation from day to day. Room was spacious but rather old furniture, bed and TV. Service wasn`t good enough as well. In one day, they didn`t put any shampoos at all for us. Wifi very unstable but, when it worked, had good speed.

At least the price was fair, we found it to be cheaper than other places in that region.

Hotel Salles is a good hotel for what you pay. The location is decent, and well within walking distance of several attractions. However, there are several sketchy streets surrounding the area, so just be careful where you walk. The staff speak limited English , but will make great attempts to help you out as best as they can.

Breakfast was similar to other hotels we stayed at within the country; fruit, juice, bread/rolls, small platter of ham and cheese, coffee, etc. Wifi was fine; not fast enough to stream anything, but good enough for random surfing. The walls within the rooms are very thin, especially if you have a room that shares a door with another room. My wife and I could easily hear the families next door at a normal talking level.

The position is fantastic on the main road and accessible to most of the sightseeing places by walking. The Metro station is very close albeit just opposite the hotel.
The rooms are spacious, very well lit, the bed is huge and very comfortable. Bathroom large and supplied with all the necessary toiletries. The lobby is huge and there's ample space to sit and relax.
Compared to the price you are paying for the expensive city, the charges are very modest. The breakfast is good, without the frills, but who wants 5 types of cheese and 7 types of jam, which I consider is an overdone show-off.
The security of this hotel is top-class in this city and every time somebody enters they are scrutinised silently by the hotel guards.
Overall, you will NOT repent if you book this hotel. Absolute value for money. After all you are paying much much less than what is demanded by the hotel chains.

Room Tip: Choose rooms that have a view of the road on a higher floor.

A very nice hotel close to the Obelisk on the main avenue of the city. The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room as spacious with addition seating room. The bathroom was specious as well and large bed was comfortable too. The location was very convenient and close to buses metro station and there was great shopping restaurants and many tourist attractions nearby within a few meters of walking distance. . The breakfast offered was continental but it was good.

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms are great for the view of the city. The front door is locked and entrance is from the door next to the front door.
