First of all, it's a hostel, you get what you expect. Second, there are mosquitos and they are hungry. When we first arrived we actually walked past the place but finally found it. The outside doesn't do the place and people justice. The oddest highlight was our room nearly flooding during a particularly heavy storm. Initial panic turned to everyone chipping in to help, an unforgettable memory from a remarkable secret place

Nice place aesthetically. Lots of charm for this former colonial house...given a great spacious couples room with a balcony overlooking the street. The receptionist spoke moderate English and was helpful.
But the walls are thin and it feels like you're sleeping in the loud main sitting room. It's boisterous and the bathrooms not terribly clean. One of the shower rooms didn't have an on-off nozzle but they were onto this quote volt after being notified.
Breakfast is basic dry breads and spreads and coffees and teas. But for the price you pay? Can't complain too much.
Location is great!

Stayed here for two nights in a private room, which was nicely presented and clean. Walls are thin so you can hear traffic and other hostel guests but when using ear plugs it was not an issue. Bathrooms tolerable and the free breakfast consisted of breads and sweet pastries. Staff were helpful. I consider this good value for money and in a good location.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in a double room. The bed was fairly comfortable and we had our own balcony overlooking the street below. The hostel itself is very charming with incredibly friendly staff, many of whom speak English. Everything was kept clean and there is a great outdoor space with a grill and space to hang out. Breakfast is simple, as everywhere in Argentina - breads and spreads. The location is perfect if you'd like to stay in San Telmo - bohemian, historical vibe. Overall we had a great stay!

Very helpful and nice stuff. Kitchen is well equipment and the atmosphere in the hostel is good. We sleept in a private room with enough space for some things (smal tabel, chair, cupboard). Big terrace where you can enjoy the sun.
Location is perfect in the center of san telmo. Some little things do not work (locking doors in the bathroom or the window in the room) but these smal things are nothing.
We had a good end of our journey and next time in Buenos Aires we would come again.
