The rooms were quite dated and the views from the window were concrete walls of the next building. The area is really close to the bus station and well within walking distance to the hotel. We stayed in a quad family room. The beds were quite comfortable and the breakfast basic. Personally I feel it was quite expensive for what it was and you probably could do better if you looked around. To be honest we also found Cordoba quite disappointing.

Room tip: The higher the better from a noise perspective but don't expect any views

Wew came from Mendoza on a morning flight to the original colonial capitol of Argentina,Cordoba.I must mention;be wary of taxi drivers who cover the meter. When we arrived in Buenos Aires, the guy charged us 260 pesos for a 12 block ride to the hotel. The desk clerk told me "50 pesos is the maximum for that ride"-so,be very careful.Ask people where you are how much a cab should cost.Use buses and public transportation as much as you can.At any rate,we paid about 450 pesos to get to the Hotel Savannah. The place looked dated, but had a African Savannah decor. We were given room 603-on the street side of the top floor. We had been in room 306 the night before in Mendoza.
This hotel had four rooms per floor and does need some updates.Staff was very helpful when we needed directions or food, but the doors-even with digital card locks-did not seem too secure. They are thin wood and very old.The bed was reasonably comfortable and the bath was pretty good-except that there was zero counter space for toothbrushes, hair supplies, etc.Hot water supply was good. The breakfast wqas the typical several types of bread,Sunny-D-type stuff they call "juice",coffee, cocoa, jams, toast and not much else.On par with the vast majority of "Continental breakfast"you find in lots of hotels in South America.

Room tip: Get on an upper floor away from the street.

This small boutique hotel is in a good location for the bus and train terminals and just a three block walk to the main plaza. The prices are very good and the rooms are simple and clean. There is a morning buffet breakfast with breads, pastries, juice, tea, and coffee. For a short stay in Cordoba capital this is a good deal.

We stayed for two days in this hotel. It is well located, in the center of the town. The staff is friendly and nice but the hotel need some renewal. The room was ok and the bathroom was clean, but I had to change my sheets as they were not very clean. It has a good wi-fi connection. The breakfast is ok. In any case it is a cheap hotel and even if it is quite old for what you pay it's just ok.

This hotel is in an excellent position, close to the main bus station as well as close to town. We arrived very late in the evening on a bus to walk easily the 5 blocks to the hotel who were ready for us. The rooms are basic but cleaned daily and the staff helpful. Breakfast is fine but typically South American, lots of bread and pastries, however the fruit salad was a delightful surprise! The Savannah is good is you have a few days in the city and want the convenience of being close to the main plaza.
