Rented a room for two nights at Viedma Hotel in Gualeguaychu. The first night, they were very full for carnival and gave us room 114. DON'T EVER STAY in room 114. The air conditioning doesn't work and the shower is very moldy. They next day I demanded to be changed to another room, and after a lot of heming and hawing, they relented and we stayed in room 109. Still wasn't great, but a lot better than room 114. The staff is OK, the breakfast is OK, the hotel is OK. However, nothing remarkable about this place...

Room Tip: NOT room 114. Ask to see the room before hand.

I even didn't manage to stay in this hotel. We called to ask if they had free rooms thinking about some special date in a couple of weeks. And a woman who attended the phone with an angry voice interrupted even without knowing the dates we wanted to ask screaming“NO” After this attitude never again I will even consider the possibility to stay in this hotel. If they don't have free rooms that doesn't mean that they can scream and be impolite with possible clients. And I really wonder how was that the hotel was full ,because if they treat all the persons like that I really doubt that the hotel could have been completed.

This is an old, dated hotel, everything needs updating.

The AC hangs in there but they charge per the hour to run it, and the bed is collapsing, in a dark and musty room.

The saving grace was the woman who runs the hotel, she is incredibly friendly, with no English but we laughed at our communication charades.
