Loved this place, the location was great, walk to everything. only about 1hr to the Glaciers. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is superb! They were quick to offer dinning selections and other info about El Calafate! Lots of space to sit and relax in the hotel with a coffee and book, and the complimentary breakfast was great! I would have loved to stay longer, such a beautiful area!

The aca el calafate is decorated in a Scandinavian style with 70s style furniture and lama throws. It was nice and the reception staff spoke English.

We paid about £180 for 2 nights but beware el calafate is pretty expensive!

We had everything we needed and as mentioned it was central so handy. I would recommend it. The rooms were rather hot but much better that than cold!

Staff very friendly and helpful – and will advise genuinely good restaurants to head out for.

Rooms are reasonable – clean, but do get very hot. There is no AC, so during summer and day/evening time they are almost unbearable, even with open windows. If your room is below the restaurant, be aware that the dining chairs are very noisy against the tiled floor!

Breakfast was the sugariest we experienced while visiting Argentina and Chile. 80% of what is available are sheer sugar products – cakes, biscuits. We prefer a wider, and healthier, choice – and this place does not have that.

Overall – a relatively good value for money. Likely particular for El Calafate – where it seems as if you have to be careful not to get ripped off. Nothing spectacular, however.

Perfect location downtown with free parking, but virtually no traffic noise. The noise level from other rooms or the reception / restaurant area could be a problem though due to poor insulation, but our room was reasonably quiet during our 2 night stay. Very friendly and professional staff (special shout-out to the charming and knowledgeable receptionist Natasha, who recommended the excellent restaurant Isabel Cocina al Disco !). Clean, comfortable rooms, good breakfast buffet. We would happily stay here again any time.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is very good, quiet and with parking.
The receptionist was very helpful, giving us tips about what to do.
They prepare meals for the excursions at reasonable prices.
Good breakfast and comfortable areas for reading / working.
For ACA members, special rates for restaurant and rooms.
