Resort is beautiful, clean and the staff could not be sweeter. The pool and spa feel like you've stepped into another world-so peaceful. And they have this dynamite punch in the lobby-magical. I even forgot a few things at home and within minutes had extras delivered to our front door.

This is
a magical secret hideaway. We had a casita which was lovely. Grounds are well kept and spectacular. Service was uniformly friendly and professional. Massages in spa were well above average.

My only complaint is the absurd $25 fee for valet parking which I do not recall being disclosed in advance.

We have been staying at the Royal Palms for the last 20 years. We typically go during the summer but tried a prime time stay in early March 2018 this time. There is not a more romantic place to stay anywhere. This small resort is truly spectacular. We spent a lot of time just relaxing in different areas of the resort and not just the pool, although we did spend some quality time there. The grounds are kept perfect and all of the courtyards and patios all have some special personality to them. Its small enough that you are never more than a stone's throw from a bar or your room. The Royal Palms is now part of Hyatt and they have taken the best of the small boutique resort and blended in the best of a world wide brand. The people are just great. Friendly and helpful but very laid back. Every question we had was taken care of and everyone seemed very intent on making our stay perfect. We always enjoy their bar and the live music they had on Friday night was great. We did apps and cocktails and had a great evening. Breakfast both days was at T Cooks and it was excellent with some very interesting choices. We did dinner Saturday night at T Cooks and it was its usual high quality self. We didn't do it, but if you are looking for the truly romantic dinner date, request the table by the fire in the front courtyard. Probably the best table in Scottsdale / Phoenix. We upgraded to a casita with a fireplace, claw foot tub and our own patio. Where it was situated essentially gave us our own back yard with a spectacular view of Camelback Mountain. All in it was just a great experience every minute we were there.
