Owner description: Red Rock State Park is a 286 acre nature preserve and environmental education center with stunning scenery. Trails throughout the park wind through manzanita and juniper to reach the rich banks of Oak Creek. Green meadows are framed by native vegetation and hills of red rock. The creek meanders through the park, creating a diverse riparian habitat abounding with plants and wildlife. This riparian habitat provides the setting and the opportunity for the park to offer a focus on environmental education. Red Rock offers a variety of special programs for school groups and private groups. There are a number of daily and weekly park events. The park offers a visitors center, classroom, theater, park store, ramada and hiking trails.

Limited parking so go early. The entry here is cheaper than most of the other parks. The views are endless and beautiful

Great guided hike with Celeste, a volunteer, to the old house. Perfect 2 hour stroll at a good pace...easy to follow.

The entry fee to the park is $10. It is more than worth it. My best friend and I, were on a recent 'girls' trip, picked up some sandwiches from the West Side Deli and had a picnic in this beautiful park. They have restrooms, a visitors center, and hiking trails (easy to difficult). The views of Seven Warriors, Cathedral Rock, Three Sisters and Napoleon's Tomb are amazing. You can also drive the loop and stop all along the way coming and going to see some wonderful views.

This was a long hike. It had nice views of the red rock and oak creek. There were beautiful old trees in the lower parts by the creek.

The views at this park are wonderful. They have nice picnic areas and we ate our lunch there. They have a nice visitors center and a variety of hiking trails. Some trails cross a stream. A very nice experience.
