First, the staff were great. No issues with them. They were very accommodating and helpful.
The 1 bedroom we had was very tired, in need of refreshing. The walls were thin and we could hear the family next door. We had to run a white noise app to block them out at night. The WiFi was spotty, and we could only connect for a few minutes at a time before losing it for much longer. The cable TV kept freezing and dropping out (normally we would not use it, but there was no WiFi to use otherwise). Also, there was no way to connect with our personal devices, either wired or wireless. The shower partition was loose, in need of repair.
This is not the hotel's fault, but there was dog excrement on the sidewalk, and daily there was a smoker at a picnic table that we had to pass to get to our parked car. One would hope to not have to deal with this.
Given the price of accommodations, I expected a bit more. This was touted as one of Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) best timeshare properties. We did see a more recently refreshed room. It was better, but still short of what I expected from a premier property. Compare to your other options and Sedona and decide whether it is a place for you. It's possible that once the whole location is refreshed, it will be nicer.
As an aside, we went to a HGV timeshare presentation (2.5 hours). They pushed hard with their message (several rounds of this is our best offer), but could not answer many questions (e.g., what does XXXX amounts of points per year get you in terms of accommodations). Also, despite being one of the largest timeshares (if not the largest), I really had no desire to stay in the locations that we presented. Check out reviews on ConsumerAffairs dot com.
