Great rooms and nice location. The only thing keeping it from a 5 is the cell phone and WiFi is poor. But if you're going to Sedona you should going somewhere to look at the scenery and not be stuck in the room with poor cell and WiFi. So if you're going and plan on having a connection for work, you better call and ask for a building with good WiFi.

Been on the property same time last year, and was excited to learn at that time that Hilton was taking over Diamond resorts. Been with Diamond resort since 2013

Pros
Nice location.
Reasonable rooms.

Cons
The Room don't have wifi connectivity. Old style TV in the room cannot stream things like Netflix etc.
Due to location of the property- phone reception is poor .For the same reason, your phone and mobile hotspot signals will be poor.
WIFI is free but only in the lobby which could be a long walk from your room.

First time, we had room phone note working, paint had fallen from the wall and was on dresser in the room , there was no comforter for our kids.

MARCH 2022 we were told they are updating the facility and the wifi network- SAME ANSWERE THIS YEAR.

Thank you for taking the time to share about your experience. I'm sorry to hear that we missed the mark during your stay here with us. We are nearing the end of a very large wifi upgrade that we hope to have completed by May. There are a number of great things to come now that we are a part of the Hilton family. We hope to have the opportunity to deliver a better experience on a return visit.

The rooms are spacious and the location is very convenient for hiking all the best trails in Sedona. My only concern was no Wi-Fi and poor cell service. I don’t usually contact to concierge but with no housekeeping services they encouraged guests to reach out with any issues. They’re response to the Wi-Fi was that there was Wi-Fi in the lobby. I would expect to have minimal service at a more rural resort but we have better service on some of the trails than at our hotel.

As a single mom traveling with two kids this wasn’t ideal and I will most likely look at other options for our next stay in Sedona.

I found the staff rude at checkin. When I asked about restaurants and bars I was told a: that there were none, b: I should have looked at the website and c: I could go to the Marriott across the street.

My room was clean, large, and immaculate. The building could use some TLC - which I did mention at checkout.

Surprisingly, Sedona does not have Uber - which for a city loaded with bars and tourists - I found rather odd. Sadly, the hotel does not offer a shuttle to town either.

The front desk staff was not welcoming, especially considering my Hilton Diamond status. I was directed to the concierge desk where I was given a mini sales pitch, trying to get me to sign up to tour another Hilton location. I was very excited, given the location of the hotel with the views of the red rocks driving in. However, when I reached my room I realized I had been placed in possibly the worst location on the property in the building right next to a busy road with no views. Most Hilton locations make an effort for Diamond members to provide a preferential room. The room itself was rather dilapidated. The door when closed was not properly sealed. There was a gap with light and air coming through. The bathroom had a tile that was not bonded to the floor and the shower floor was peeling in multiple places. The TV was the smallest I've seen in any hotel in a decade. The only trash bin in the suite was in the bathroom next to the toilet. The toilet did not flush properly. I called guest services to address this and no one came. After about 3 hours, I ended up checking out before anyone showed up. I was charged a $40 resort fee per night, but I'm not sure what extra services that covers or what qualifies this property to be a resort, since there are no extra amenities or a breakfast. Without serious renovations and a bigger emphasis on guest service, I would not consider returning or recommending this property to anyone. I really wanted to like this hotel due to the location, but was left very disappointed.

Room tip: Watch out for $40 resort fee and sales pitch at check-in. Request rooms that have been renovated, if there are any.
