My husband and I spent 3 nights here in a 1 bedroom Mesa King Suite. Check-in was very friendly and efficient, and although we were asked if we wanted to attend a vacation club meeting, we declined and there was no pressure at all. We were given information by the concierge about the area and some discounts at local restaurants. She offered to book us tours or activities, which we didn't need.
I was apprehensive after reading some of the poor reviews, particularly about the condition of the units, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our spacious unit was on the ground floor but there were still a few steps to go down to it. The upper units had a lot more stairs, and there are no elevators. Parking was close, and we were across the street from the main building in one of the many complexes onsite. Decor was attractive, the full kitchen was well stocked with equipment to cook and eat, the living area was comfortable and it was nice having the separate bedroom and a very spacious bathroom with soaking tub and nice shower. Everything was clean and overall well maintained. There was good lighting, AC, and wifi. We did have issues with the patio sliding door and screen sticking and we informed the desk that one of the shower glass panels was a bit wobbly. Housekeeping only comes every 4th day, but we had plenty of thick towels for the stay. The bed was most comfortable we've had a hotel in quite awhile and the pillows were good too. We could hear some noise from the guests above us, but nothing annoying. My understanding is that the non "Mesa" units might not be as nice, so I can't speak for them, but ours was great. If ever in Sedona again we would stay at this location, but would definitely request a suite with a view of the mountains. Our view from the patio was obstructed by other buildings and trees. Overall a great experience.
