Man oh man, what a terrific place! Ideal location, walkable to literally everything in Sedona. Stayed in rooms 204 & 101, and I can tell you that the first floor rooms have a great view just like the top floor ones. 101 I think has the largest balcony in the entire place and it's great for sitting out and people watching on the main street. The rooms are renovated and quite comfortable. Mattresses, linens, etc, and great. Shower is large and the provided toiletries were wonderful. Front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. I really can't wait to return to Sedona and will definitely be booking here again.

Room tip: 101 has a huge balcony with a great view!

Good afternoon, Thank you so much for this amazing review. We really appreciate it. I love that you brought up the view from our 1st floor and how the view is just as awesome as our 2nd, that is huge question we get from lots of guests, and this review might help out. We enjoyed hosting here at the Matterhorn Inn, and can't wait to do it again.

Take Care,
Front Desk.

We had a 2 night stay. The Hotel is in a great location for restaurants and shopping.
The room was specious, clean and the bed was comfortable. Loved their bath products as they had a fresh scent and not mannish as I found out other hotels that use the pump bottle products. Staff was friendly. The view from room was fantastic. Would definitely stay at the Matterhorn again.

We happened to snag the last room that they had for the Sedona Wine Festival. I absolutely cannot say enough about this Inn. The room was so very nice, clean, and the view was just stunning from our balcony. Staff was really nice, unfortunately I didn't get to experience the pool, but I'd stay here again without thought. The only complaint we had was the parking. I know there were signs stating parking for Inn guests only, but I guarantee that people were looking for free parking parked there. The Inn was in a prime location for shopping and dining.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a nice review we appreciate it. I apologize I know parking can tight here at times. I assure you though, that the only people parking in our parking areas were guests of the inn. We hand out parking passes to all of our guests and we make sure they are placed in the car. We enjoyed hosting you here at the Matterhorn Inn, and hope to do it again next time, maybe you can hang by the pool and hot tub on your next trip.

Thank You,
Front Desk

I've never stayed anywhere that had such wonderful views. Our room was on the second floor with a large balcony and four chairs. We sat on the balcony a lot during our one night stay, just gazing at those beautiful rocks and all the activity in Uptown. The location is prime, within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. We opted for a takeout dinner to eat on the balcony, probably the best seat in town.

Our room was ready and we were able to check in early. The room was fine, and I was happy that there were options for no-pet rooms. I appreciated the small fridge where we could chill our water bottles. When we walked in, there was a heavy scent of cleanser, which even my husband noticed. I thought $184 (total, including taxes and fees) was a fair price. Would love to stay here again, not for the room itself, but for the beautiful views and location.

So today as I am writing this they are number 26 of hotels in Sedona and when I booked they were at top 5. I can understand why. Overall it isn't bad but it is not what I expected. I was very excited to come here and when we arrived after having driven many hours, it wasn't the best. First I had requested an upper floor. I made res in plenty of time to secure that request. I booked 2 rooms. Her first response was it's late and these are the only rooms we have left and it says patio on your res. I said it can't possibly and she said in a very condescending voice, well you booked it through expedia and THEY screwed it up. Turned me off immediately as I was guided to expedia on trip advisor. We were by the parking lot and laundry room on ground. The lobby closes at 9 we were told. It was about 8. When we got to room safe didn't work so my husband immediately went to office as we were worried about closing. She came and fixed it. Next there was no remote for the tv. Back to the office. Parking is not great and we had to park at an outer lot that after dark you need a flashlight to see where you are going. Before we left for dinner, about 830ish, were going to stop at lobby to fill our water bottles. Closed. No one is on duty at night. There is a number to call but that's it. The next morning I went to office before we left to request cleaning of both rooms as many nats come in at night. And I wasn't sure the last time our room was cleaned. When we returned about 3 pm, room wasn't touched. Thankfully staff still there and person I spoke to still there and it was clearly marked on the sheet. They just didn't do it. When we returned a few hours later it was done, but had we not stopped in the middle of day, oh well. View was nice but being on the lower floor we had these big exhaust panels outside our door and anyone can walk by. It was nicely redone and has all the elements to be good, especially location, but they need to get the details done. A/c was so loud!!

Room tip: Upper floor only and stay on the south side
