Great hotel, with a comfortable bed, large rooms, an amazing view from the second floor, and very friendly/helpful staff. There aren't a ton of amenities, but it's a lovely and comfortable place to stay, and also very clean. We were very pleased w/the Matterhorn. The interior was newly remodeled so everything looked good and worked as it should. True black out blinds. Good insulation since we couldn't really hear the people on either side of us or the street noise.
You get your own private balcony w/a great view! Convenient free parking.
Great location at the very northern end of downtown (it's a very small downtown so don't let that dissuade you) A coffee shop right across the parking lot - so convenient!
The evening front desk receptionist, Susan, was super nice and so helpful. She made us feel like we were welcomed guests. We really appreciated her.

Loved the Madderhorn Inn. From the outside it looks like an old motel but the inside is really nice! The rooms are clean and modern. The mattress is ok. Not the best but pretty comfortable. The view from the rooms are insane! Gorgeous mountains straight ahead. Thought it was weird that the front desk is closed 9pm-8am. And recommend staying on the top floor because I heard the upstairs person stomping around at 4am.

Nicely renovated, great views, good value for money, centrally located. One of the original parts of Sedona updated and pet friendly. Could not have asked for more for the price. Free parking in the middle of town is a boon of its own.

This was one of the best hotels I've experienced. The room had soft beds and many fluffy pillows. The bathroom lighting and shower were amazing. The view was perfect (downtown and red rocks). Being a small hotel, access to the room was easy and access to restaurants, shops and tours was perfect. I could have chatted with the woman at the desk (owner or manager) all day. We had left a ring in the room and they called and offered to mail it back to us. I will always stay here.

This place was recently remodeled and it shows. Very clean and modern rooms, with comfortable beds. Rooms are fairly small - you can tell it used to be an old-school motor inn. But the history and décor are great. The location is excellent - right in the heart of Sedona. FANTISTIC view from our connecting double-queen rooms. The outdoor pool and hotel were nice. I would definitely stay again.
