What a great place. We had room 1 which came with a king bed, full kitchen, nice bathroom, and just out the door a superb patio complete with grill, view, and fish pond. The hosts, Karen and Bernie are welcoming and tell you all you need to know about the neighborhood. The views are superb, the quietness and peacefulness and darkness at night and central location make this the perfect getaway whether you are a horseman, a birder, a hiker, a wine lover or just a nature lover. We feel like we discovered a bit of nirvana one hour plus from Tucson. We highly recommend this place. Rooms are spotless, have all amenities you could want, but more than anything, this is a place to breathe and see.

Room Tip: All rooms are good! Room 1 was spacious.

Xanadu is a most delightful place. If you want total relaxation, this is the place. Karen and Bernie are such fun people, and their energy, wow! Rooms are extremely clean, up to date, decorated very nicely, and everything you need is there. If not, just ask Karen and you will get it in minutes! Highly recommend a visit here.

Bernie and Karen were great hosts and made us feel right at home. They have 5 rooms available 3 with a full kitchen. Karen was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us around the grounds. Nice break from the city. Very quiet and we had a sitting area next to a koi pond. Location is great if you're coming for wine tasting. Will be back again.

Room Tip: Rooms 1,4&5 have full kitchen.

If I'd known Xanadu Ranch was in such a lovely setting I'd have booked more than one night. There are 5 guest rooms, all of which are set up like studio apartments with sleeping area and living room area. Some have full kitchens and others partial. The room and bathroom were clean & comfortable. The owners, Karen & Bernie, are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Alongside the main building there is a lovely patio with a fish pond, musical water fountains, lounge chairs, and other seating areas. A perfect spot for sunset (see photos). 3 of the guest rooms are off this patio. The other two guest rooms are in a separate building with a nice front porch and a private back patio for the room on the left.

My stay at the Xanadu Ranch Get Away was delightful! My room, which was more like an apartment was very comfortable and impeccably clean. The friendly hosts, Karen and Bernie, had given me an exceptional upgraded to a suite with a full kitchen, coffee included! The ranch is very peaceful with outstanding views of the undulating hills and mountains in the distance. If you are an equine lover, this is your place! They have terrific facilities for guests and horses! I highly recommend the serene comfort of the Xanadu Ranch.
