The room is small and basic but met our needs. It's extremely hot, the fan doesn't do much so be warned, it's really, really hot, all day, all night. The family that runs the place are exceptional people. Unfortunately we don't speak much Spanish, if any, so it was difficult to communicate but we managed. That's on us we should know more Spanish. The meals are included and are very filling and delicious. Breakfast and dinners are included but some days we had lunch, some days not so that wasn't super clear. The location is hard to find. We drove and our GPS did not bring us there. It's right at the end of the road and there's a gate with really no signage so it's hard to locate. The location is perfect, walking distance to town if you want. The trails are excellent going both ways and the wildlife is everywhere. Toucans, scarlet macaws and monkeys all around us as well. The beach is two minutes away, you can't really see it from the home but it's close enough. Chairs to bring to the the beach would be wonderful even if we had to drag them there when we wanted to lay on the beach. Calm beach for swimming at any age. We would definitely stay here again. It's a perfect place to unwind and experience a "home stay". More
