The journey to get here alone was a fun adventure. My husband and I needed to feel like we were a world away. Aguila de Osa is a unique, secluded, slice of paradise in the remote part of Costa Rica's South Pacific. We felt like we travelled to another universe filled with sounds of the rainforest, ocean waves, and a beautiful coastline that includes over 6 hours of hiking trails. You want a REAL ESCAPE? Look no further. The staff AMAZING the food DELICIOUS and your host Brad - very entertaining (originally from Rhode Island). You'll read other reviews that mention 'no pool' 'lots of stairs' 'no A/C' this weeds out the kind of clientele you don't want to share this type of paradise with. Even the other guests we encountered there were wonderful and from all walks of life. This place will forever hold a special place in my heart. We indulged in everything it had to offer scuba/snorkel to Cano Island, trek through the Corcovado National Park, kayaking, and hiked to all the secluded beaches as far as we could see. The wildlife was astounding we saw sloths, monkeys, sharks, etc.
I LOVE DRAKE BAY!! I LOVE AGUILA DE OSA!! More
