I thoroughly recommend the KSB if you are looking for a great steak in nice surroundings where you can watch the food being cooked over the open fire.
I had the bull steak, which was probably a 12 ouncer, but there were far bigger ones available. It's good to see that these are available as the French and even some Spanish are known for using only ex milker female cows, which can be tough and stringey, as they are both old and from breeds meant for good dairy not good meat.
The sides go with the meat perfectly with barbecued roast spuds with cream cheese and green beans. Also, the charcuterie starter was excellent value as it fed the four of us whilst we watched the meat cooking away over the logs.
Well worth the visit and the fact that this place has been in the same hands for 19 years tells you something in a place with so much choice.
