Didn't see play as it wasn't open yet but the statue and free petting zoo was a big success with kiddos

We visited this park/property on a cold, windy day, but the statue was wonderful up close, and the grounds and sets used for the well-known Passion Play were impressive. There is a nice gift shop with an interesting small museum and restrooms. I would love to go back and actually see the Passion Play in warmer weather.

Huge impressive statue of Christ! I think with a darker sky or more clouds it would take the best pics. It is not something most would want to spend a long time viewing but it is free and I felt it was worth the trip. There is also a little church nearby that I visited that has amazing stained glass windows and some other things to do and see around there. Will add some pics from my trip.

Only ones there and was such a short walk from the parking lot. Such a nice visit. You can get super close for a view there at the Christ of the Ozarks or see it from a distance from the 1886 Crescent Hotel. It's much older than I realized. They have a small gift shop that was open to around 5pm. Nothing else was open when we went.
