Review of Hotel Famissi
2.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 27 Oct 2018
Stayed with a group tour and even though the room was just ok I found the bathroom facilities not great. The 1/2 bathtub for the shower was sloped and very slippery and very dangerous. The phone on the room did not work and didn’t even have numbers on it- looked like a decoration. Food in the restaurant was ok. Elevator is very small and very old fashioned.

This hotel isn't perfect but it does the job and considering the location it works. None of the hotels are too fancy around there anyway. The best part are the beds, they're very comfortable beds and comfortable rooms. The bathroom is a little outdated but the rest is okay. The food is also basic but was enough, especially since it was for one night.
Honestly this place does what it's supposed to do.

The rooms were clean and reception staff were nice and courteous. Free WiFi though it was slow and non existent in the room I had. Included breakfast was good. We had a big room so I'm happy overall. Nice views.

I think my standards are a little high. But then again, We were in an ancient part of the world. The room was clean, yet very dated. We had a corner room with a wrap around balcony and beautiful views of the cliffs and monastery. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was pretty much what we experienced all across Greece, nothing fancy. I personally did not like the breakfast anywhere in Greece. I travel with a jar of peanut butter and pretty much had PB&J or PB and Bananna sandwiches for breakfast. The beds were just OK. The air conditioning was sort of lacking. It was on but not like we were used to. The bathroom was functional. The shower head had nowhere to hang. It was just laying in the tub. It made for a difficult time washing hair. While this hotel is not quite what I’m used to, I would stay here again. It really wasn’t that bad.

Cleaning was poor, supposed by the towels. Good view to meteora (if you choose a room with that option). Less than basic breakfast. There was not even a fridge in the room. No good value for money. Reception 24hours.

Not happy at all and disappointing! The reception lady was rude. We complained about the shower head and she offered us two other rooms, but they had the same problem. How can someone take a shower if the shower doesn’t work. At the end she tells me that we can leave ........... really!!!!!????? This is how you treat or (try to) satisfy your customers.
I would never recommend to anyone this hotel!
