We stopped to see the view of the Ballinakil Bay. Beautiful ..so took photo's.
When we hopped back into the car, we noticed Avoca shop across the road.
So we decided to go see what was inside ~ NOT disappointed!
The friendly ladies were all in a tiz...it was their opening day and things werent quiet organised...
The shelves were full of jams, preserves, teas, cups, mugs, Irish linen, chocolates and lots of gift ware. Clothing was exquisite! (a tad expensive...)
We tourists loved this store, loved the ladies who wrapped our breakables in bubble wrap...loved that they were in a tiz...could have been the excitment of their first day?
Thank you ladies from Avoca, Letterfrack, Connemara, you have left me with a beautiful memory to treasure!

Thank Judy D

Had no idea that this little piece of Wicklow existed in Connemara. Very colourful, rustic and attractive variety of goodies on offer. Was restrained with my purchases. That took will power!!!

Excellent shop with a variety of gifts and friendly and helpful staff.

There are many purchase options at this shop . Connemara marble gifts and also good quality apparel for both men and women.

There is also a good quality coffee shop in this shop.

Thank Patrick I

Had not been in years, from the people who sold recipe books on there wonderful cafe recipes, this place now gives you coffee from a machine in a non recyclable cup and food to go in jars and tins!.
The building itself is uninspiring and inside there are various rooms with over priced crafts and tins and jars from all over the world.
Even their website is outdated, talks about reopening in 2014 and when this was reported to them (sales team) they didn't say thanks or seem to care.
Drive by, nothing to see here...
Kylemore abbey shop is 10 times better, and better still is the wool center in Leeanne
