Ate here early one Saturday evening with family and was not disappointed. The welcome is authentic from the family and the food is excellent quality. Service is excellent too. Had a pizza which was yummy but the winner was the salmon pasta which my sister ate. Will have to have this on my next visit!

Dined here yesterday for mother's day, three adults and two children. It is a very cosy family friendly busy little restaurant. Booking advised. The menu was varied with a nice set 2 or 3 course early bird very reasonable. Also a large a la carte offering with steaks, duck, pasta, pizza and fish. Had read good things on TripAdvisor about the fish so I had mussels for starter and sea bass for mains. Both were beautifully cooked and fresh. Husband enjoyed mushroom starter and pasta main, again lovely flavours. Ours all from set menu, kids had tenders and beautiful homemade chips. However mother in law just went for a main from a la carte which are a good bit more expensive and she was very disappointed with overcooked rubbery duck. This was a shame because I couldn't fault anything else. Desserts hadn't much choice and there was no tiramisu which I would have expected to see on an Italian restaurant menu. Service was very good especially with the day that was in it. BYOD with corkage five euro is from mon- Thursday only. Would eat here again food is fresh and tasty especially the fish, kids enjoyed it, but I would probably stick to set menus to make it good value for portion sizes and what you get. All in all would recommend especially for families.

This is a hidden gem of Mullingar restaurants. (It is beside Mojos NIghtclub in the Blackhall Carpark for visitors to the town) If it hasn't the best food in Mullingar (and it might very well have) it certainly has the best value. Bring your own wine and pay minimal corkage. The menu is extensive and the food is simply delicious. Have eaten in this restaurant on a number of occasions and have been absolutely satisfied on every occasion. Latest visit (early bird) had two starters, steak and sea bass mains, an extra side, two desserts glasses of house wine and two coffees for €45! Beat that ... but good food is not about the price ... The goat's cheese with beetroot starter is also delicious. All in all a top-class dining experience. Seating might be a bit cramped, booking is recommended as this is a small restaurant (Make sure you are not disappointed) and bring cash as it does not take cards.

Went with a friend and good food was had, the menu is good and they do offer slight variations to suit your needs. Pizza was delicious as was the fish dish. Can bring your own wine and pay corkage as some did. Very reasonable and even took home some food. Looks like eating in someone's house which adds to the atmosphere
