Very well priced villas located next to one of the main plazas in the old town of cazorla. Our villa had an amazing view which made sitting in the balcony a treat!

Parking available next to villa and breakfast which was included in our booking was very decent.

Only draw back is no fridge but in all honesty worth eating or enjoy a drink at the old town tapas places

A real shame the beautiful silence was randomly interrupted by desperate barking and hauling from dozens of surrounding dogs kept tied up by hunters in appalling conditions.

Those who abuse animals also abuse humans. So if you notice this during your stay PLEASE REPORT IT IN RECEPTION and MENTION IT HERE ON YOUR FEEDBACK.

We had just rode through Sierra y Segura on the motorcycle and were looking forward to a good nights stay. Villa Turistica was it. A lovely place with clean bright rooms. Located just far enough from main town that the night was quiet. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious- no vegetarian choices, but they were able to put together a great meal in no time. The breakfast was plentiful. The Villa Turistica staff were very helpful and friendly. Wifi in the room worked great. The place is dated but made me think of a place I could back to again and again. Good value.

Stayed for 1 week in August 2013; our "villa" was a two bedroom, two storey with small balcony - the views over Cazorla where beautiful. The rooms were very clean, maid service everyday, beds comfy enough, shutters & air con to keep the rooms cool. The hotel is well laid out, ample room, never felt crowded even though it was full. Breakfast was part of our package and was a good selection of breads, cold meats, cereals, drinks etc. Didn't use the restaurant but the menu did look quite good & reasonably priced. Free wifi available in the reception & dining areas. Pool was a little small but kept clean, could do with a few more sun beds!

Cazorla is a lovely town located on the side of the mountain so expect a few steep hills when walking to / from the hotel or just around the town. The walks into the mountains give some spectacular views of the town & the surrounding olive groves which stretch as far as the eye can see. The local residents are friendly, the bars are plentiful & well priced, plenty of tapas to choose from. Markets in the main square twice a week, a supermercado just outside the town is open all day if supplies are needed (several smaller ones in the town). The Segway tour from Plaza Santa Maria is great fun, or take a ride on the small tour train. As Cazorla isn't a major tourist area, everything opens early, shuts down in the afternoon, and doesn't really come to life again until 8/9pm and stays open through the night.

The local area is filled with olive groves, scenic drives over the mountains & other small towns with bars to laze about in.

Cazorla isn't local to any of the main Spanish airports, so expect a good 3 hour drive to get there, the roads are good, not too twisty, well signed, had no trouble getting - we flew into Madrid and drove down at night; checking in to the hotel at 1am wasn't an issue.

Located in a very beautiful mountain region with many possibilities for hiking, mountain biking etc., this place is recommended for nature lovers. Villa Turistica is a bit outside of town from which you have good panoramic views of Cazorle, the mountains and the countryside. According to pictures it has a beautiful pool which annoyingly wasn’t open on the day of our arrival in June when having 35 degrees. The manager advised that the pool is only filled with water during the main season (sticks to calendar) but unfortunately nothing about that was written on the homepage on which based my booking. Watch out!

Our standard apartment had a sleeping room, living room and a bathroom. Everything was a bit dated and run down: TV, couch, bed, showers, cupboards, walls… With a little money and some repairs this hotel would shine again but as it is now it has no real magic for me. Maybe it is ok for hikers or for children which stay here a lot but I am used to fitter accommodations. Wifi didn’t work in the room only in the lobby.

Best thing about the hotel was the friendly staff and the little hotel restaurant which served reasonable and good (also vegetarian) food. Also breakfast buffet was great.

In comparisons to the other hotels of our Andalusia trip I cannot give more than an average rating and would only stay there again when pool is ready.
