We had the meat Paella, I highly recommend!! The deal for paella for 2 and a bottle of wine is unbeatable. PACO made our dinner so amazing.

Also - great view!

My mother and I chose to eat at Seven because it was local to us during our stay in Fuengirola, plus the reviews seemed pretty good. I can only assume that we either caught them on a (very) bad night or the reviewers who deem this place 'excellent' enjoy eating as they would in the UK.

We arrived at around 8.30pm with a specific requirement for a Paella. The place was empty bar a group sitting outside on the plastic furniture. We wanted to eat in a restaurant environment, not a cafe and so we specified that we'd like to sit indoors to which the waiter shook his head in disappointment but we took seats indoors anyway.

We were handed menus and immediately chose the seafood Paella however, the waiter advised that the Paella was 'finished'. I asked (in Spanish) why this was so and he replied that they stop cooking rice early in the evening. We didn't understand this at all. Yes, we understand that cooking Paella takes some time but we're willing to wait. And surely, your business ramps up in the evenings - why not cater for it? We had the impression that the staff just wanted to get rid of us and go home and we were therefore fobbed off with mediocre items from the menu instead.

As we'd already ordered and opened a bottle of cava and we were hungry we decided to stay and chose the salmon and the swordfish (which came with rice usually, but as they'd stopped cooking rice we were forced into going for the only alternative option - chips). Both arrived pretty quickly with a pile of overcooked deep fried chips, salad & rubbery, cooked from frozen fish.

We left pretty hastily after eating what we could manage, during which the restaurant owner who used to be a Matador pointed out pictures of himself and engaged in a little conversation. He offered us a free shot too.

Overall this was not a particularly pleasant dining experience. It is definitely more of a cafe offering lunch for beachgoers rather than a restaurant offering good food in the evenings. I feel the need to make this clear to anyone looking for an establishment for dinner: go elsewhere.

Good price and very good food, great spot just off of the beach. I recommend the Spanish omelette and the breaded chicken & aioli

Visited as party of a party of 12 and one of our party's 40th Birthday. We were on the look out for somewhere that did an amazing paella and we weren't dissappointed!

Had a real family run feel, warm and very welcoming! We had 4 small children with us and were very accommodating to them. When they finished their meal before we had they brought them out ice lollies on the house which we though was so nice. Nothing was too much trouble.

The paella was like non we've ever tasted, we ordered the meat, seafood and mixed paella's and we all had some of each. If we get a chance this week I'm sure we will be back!

If you get a chance, pay a visit and definitely have the paella!

5 stars!
