Description: Our Spanish kitchen creates an exciting and wide selection of dishes and whenever possible, organic fruit and vegetables are served, sourced from our finca, together with the extra virgin olive oil. Daily specials run alongside the a la carte menu, allowing our chef to vent his creativity without compromising the popular old standards on the menu, always using seasonal and local produce and keeping the fundamental elements emphatically Mediterranean. Throughout the restaurant various dining areas available, inside or out, from the original wood clad main dining room, around the swimming pool, or on the summer terrace overlooking the sea.

Food quality and presentation is consistent even on the busiest days when all indoor and outdoor tables are full. Varied menu of meats and seafood. The most picturesque/romantic tables are at the edge of the cliff overlooking the sea. These tables are very popular so book well in advance.
The only irritation is the trio of minstrels who arrive in fancy dress, play a few uninspiring ballads and pass the hat round. You feel like you are being mugged. There is a far better guitarist who plays classical spanish outside the Bakus, the Balcon and Joanny's. Now he is a brilliant musician worthy of tipping.

Disappointed ! The service is so slow and the food, whilst ok, was not outstanding for the prices charged. Wine we ordered was delivered promptly. We were offered a Bread Roll ( but no oil or olives whilst waiting ). Having ordered we waited 40 minutes for our food to arrive which was fortunate as we were about to walk out ! Bakus, just a few yards further down is far better in terms of friendliness, service and quality.

This restaurant was so pretty... very romantic. We sat at the poolside and was there to watch the sunset... amazing.
The food is high end and a very varied menu. Some of the meals were just amazing and some where not the best. Staff were nice and overall we had a great night.
It is more expensive than most in Nerja but you can see why

Made a reservation for a Wednesday night as we noticed they had live music Sunday & Wednesday so glad we did as we were shown to a table for 2 in an ivy covered arch by the pool and directly opposite the 2 guitarists who played a wide selection of classical/flamenco pieces at an astounding standard they actually took our breath away.
As a restaurant 34 has a very pleasant setting and offers an interesting menu, we enjoyed our selections but after an hour and half we had only received our starters and our selected bottle of wine which we had consumed by the time our mains arrived, not how it should be but for us the fantastic music covered the slow service. We found the staff pleasant and friendly but obviously we had a long period of inactivity.

This is a stunning restaurant in terms of decor and location. We went here for a birthday meal as it has a Michelin rating. The environment is supberb but the service and the food wasn't as good as the location and environment. I had scallops, good but I've had better, followed by pigs cheeks (a Spainsh speciality) and to honest I have had better in cheaper restaurants. My wife had rib of beef, that was very good and the portion size was huge. We went for the house wine which is satisfactory. In fairness because if the poor service I was given a free brandy. You won't beat the location!
