Just arrived back k from a 4 night stay, our first go at a Warners Break.. we found it really good value, the room was very nice, just a standard rm but it had everything we needed, and the bed was amazingly comfy for a hotel one! When we first arrived our bed was made into 2 singles, my Husband went down to reception and it was corrected by a very friendly lady before we had even unpacked properly! The Staff are always helpful and cheerful, they have their hands full dealing with shortages and some customers who can be impatient, but all are doing their best. We were very happy with the food and the facilities, and made the most of all of them except the ballroom dancing, (I wasn't well one morning) which I am gutted about. The quizzes are fun, we sang along to the music in the evenings and relaxed, knowing we didn't have to rush. Our waitress, Skie, was so sweet and got to know our preferences at breakfast and dinner, even coping with my (sometimes over critical) elderly Mum's observations...the food was hot, the service was good and the atmosphere among the guests was friendly! We met some lovely people. For our first time, it lived up to most of our expectations and surpassed more than we thought. I hope the staffing problems get sorted soon. Will visit again.

Yet again another wonderful 6 day break. Lived upto the usual standard which is more than I can say of another Warners hotel that I was at a few weeks ago. Staff, food and entertainment was what I expect for the price you pay. Had no issues with anything but from what I heard many complained about lack of parking. Will comment on what people say about staff being on their phones it is in fact them sorting your meals out on their handsets. Will come back as grounds around are wonderful and plenty of walks around the area. Sorry to be leaving as this is my last night.

We've been going to Warner's for many years several times to Littlecote. Before the pandemic it was good but now, Littlecote is looking tired and a bit on its knees. The dining room is very noisy and short of staff, breakfast takes over an hour. On arrival I was told 'you can't reserve a table' but many people clearly had; walking unescorted to their favourite spots (boo).
The plate warmers must be broken as all plates a served cold. Overall the food is good quality but rarely hot.
Everything is waiter service including drinks but there isn't enough staff, so people were smuggling in booze. Parts of the once lovely gardens are bare and unkempt. Entertainment team and our waiter 'Alexandra' get '5' stars. On the last day there was not the usual goodbyes to waiters, I think I may have be the only guest leaving a tip, a sign perhaps that many were unhappy. Reception staff were very efficiant and helpful (4 stars). We had a 'Signature' room, clean and comfy if not a little worn. I'll give Littlecote a miss for a few years, until it's possibly refurbished and to the standard of Studley Castle (which is streets ahead).

Room tip: Book a Signature room or better.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your review.

It's good to read your personal feedback of your stay.

Before re-opening, Warners, like many companies in the UK hospitality industry have experienced some challenges in recruiting sufficient team to work in our bars and restaurants. We are working hard to recruit more team so that we may continue to provide the excellent service levels we have become renowned for.

Thanks again for your review and we do hope you will come back to Warner Leisure Hotels again soon.

Kind regards,
Kate K

We had a signature room pity stopped complimentary wine
Room refurbished really well set out for disabled mum. Food varied but too much on a plate as all food served in the evening by waiter.. Unfortunately some elderly just refuse a plate if it is piled up this happened with the elderly ones. Asked for smaller portions and this didn’t happen until last night when said please remove massive Yorkshire, veg etc.
Unfortunately the breakfast coffee and tea served in a jug was awful so we kept to juice. Ask for pot of tea will probably be fresher. Breakfast was varied and really good. Noticed evening meals never offered a salad which was a pity perhaps next year things may change. My niece fell over on in even step and sprained her ankle. My uncle and mum in their 80s and 90s fell over too. Just be careful of steps should really be a few more ramps. Hard to find in restaurant so really difficult for them. Request sitting on food buffet level for people with mobility issues, Lovely grounds and history to explore. I believe and saw a few mobility people struggled around the place so I would recommend for the more able people unless you can get nearer reception or lift.
Some of the carpet and furniture needs updating as getting a bit worn compared to other places.
I enjoyed my stay but would not go back it was a struggle for my mum with mobility issues. Littlecote is well worth a visit though
Ps checking out and in really easy without having to line up

We have just returned from a 4 day break at Littlecote a beautiful historic building. Our Signature room had everything we could wish for and was immaculate. The meals were superb and our waiter Cristian was very warm and friendly as were all the staff that we came into contact with.

The entertainment was mixed. The resident band Sahara Blue we thought were mediocre but the comedy /music act Ian Larkin was very good as was the entertainment team paying tribute to the Musicals. A very enjoable way to end our last night at Littecote.

Room tip: recommend Signature Room
