Good value and easy to use with ferries every 15 mins. Padstow is very busy at this time of year but good coastal and beach walks. There is a car park which had many spaces at 1130.

My experience of ferries is that they go from one port to another, there and back. Unfortunately this ferry doesn't and while it looks deceptively doable for a person with limited mobility, in actual fact, you can get dumped on an inaccessible beach with a horrific walk to get back to your car. The signpost supposedly tells customers about this, but it isn't clear and doesn't point out the walks involved.

Some trips of the ferry from a beach next to Padstow which runs to Rock beach in both directions, takes about three minutes and is extremely bad value with I'd say nearly a mile of rough walking involved to get to the two crossing points including over soft sand and crossing a small river with whatever shoes you're wearing. If you get it from the Quarry car park at Rock to Padstow harbour then it's a nice little boat trip. Just beware of your return trip locations because once you've committed by going over, you're stuck with whatever the return is.

The crew people were short on customer service and considering it's only the first week of the summer holidays it doesn't bode well if the tourists have annoyed them already!

Excellent and very affordable attraction for young children. Also much more convenient than driving between Padstow and Rock. Very frequent and easy access and contactless payment. If going across from Padstow to Rock, the beach is great for small families and there are local toilets and food outlets and you also get a great view of Padstow.

Very easy and quick way to get across to Rock from Padstow. £3 per person per trip is very fair pricing. Sensible Covid-19 precautions on board (masks / spacing etc.) and did exactly what it needed to do very efficiently.

Pleasant staff.

Easy to find at one far end of the harbour, leaving roughly every 20 minutes or so and takes 10 minutes or less depending on tide.

The Captain of the ferry, felt it was acceptable to say over the loud speaker. That Covid was Ripe in Cornwall due to US LOT coming into Cornwall. Don't suppose he would have a job if it weren't for US LOT. Tourists
