Lovely little cafe in Honiton almost opposite Costa. Charming and friendly staff and the coffees were superb.
The place was full of locals who prefer the personal service and more reasonable prices this cafe offer.
Will definitely stop here and break my journey on the way to Devon in future.

If your looking for beautiful homemade cakes and fresh coffee hurry past the overpriced multinational coffee shops and head straight to the Lacemakers Cafe.
What a hidden gem! Step inside and you are greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The smell of fresh coffee hits you, but your eyes will be drawn to the amazing array of cakes on display.
On a horrid rainy day like today it was just so warm and cosy we didn’t want to leave, I recommend the hot buttered tea cakes.
There are gluten free options and a full menu is available. They cook the food to order, but it’s worth the wait and reasonably priced.
A brilliant local cafe...

really friendly staff in this busy high street traditional café/ coffee shop and with the addition of very good food and efficient service makes this a place to stop by.

Worth taking a small detour off the main road to visit Honiton and avoid the horrible services in the area.

You can park in the street - though beware the traffic wardens .

We had 2 lovely coffees and cakes - the carrot cake was "the best" my wife had ever had .

Very friendly service and good value.

We will visit again

Very friendly and welcoming. Food excellent and offered full lunch menu, various sandwiches, paninis, etc. Various breakfasts from full English down to vegan choices. Lovely range of homemade cakes and, of course, inevitable cream team available. A range of teas and coffees and alcohol also available. Old world charm. Also take away if required.
