Food is average. only went in there because Joe's was shut.
But above all, the lady possibly the owner, she isn't exactly welcoming.

This place very popular with locals. THere will be a queue at busy times (e.g. Friday evening), but it's well worth it Fish cooked to order is fresh, and they have a fast turnover, so don't be put off by the queue.
We were in Honiton for football on a sunny August evening and what else better to have to tea than fish and chips!
Decent size portions, we both had cod and chips and not overly expensive.
its usually quite late when we arrive, so we often wait for fresh fish to be cooked for us. great quality, reasonable price
