Myself and wife went for a meal today as we were thinking of taking friends there next week for a meal, we waited over 20 minutes for our two lattes, our table was not cleared of coffee cups etc before our meal arrived, my wife had the lincolnshire sausage which she said was fine but her mash was cold and carrots were hard, I had the liver and bacon which was nicely presented and was fine but mash and jus was lukewarm, my wife spoke to the new manager who spoke to someone else and they decided not to charge us which was unexpected and appreciated, we hope the service and food improves but we will not be taking our friends there this year.

Hotel is well located. Our room was an excellent size and the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were modern and clean.

Breakfast was very tasty and we ate dinner in the hotel one night and it was very good too.

The location is excellent for walking around the town.

We had a great stay. Had a meal in the restaurant which was fabulous and the room was comfortable and clean. Only issue was the room was on the third floor with no lift but that was due to the nature of the building and not a fault of the hotel. All the staff were brilliant and are a credit to you!

The White Hart is situated in a superb position in Boston, looking out onto the beautiful Boston Stump and the river. It is just a four minute walk from the Blackfriars Theatre - our reason for visiting.
There is a guest car park, but get there early if arriving on a Saturday as this is a popular wedding venue and spaces are limited. Having said that, once you have parked, there is little reason to move the car during your stay. Our rooms were ready and we were allowed to book in early- a huge bonus as it was raining hard. We had lunch across the covered way- very good, and a superb choice of breakfast the next morning. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The rooms were comfortable but the position of the toilet in shower room was cramped . Our main concern was that although the shower room was very well lit, the lighting in the bedroom was extremely poor, making it very difficult to see easily, especially on a dull day. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Staff and service were excellent. Loverly room with a comfortable bed. Ate in the restaurant for a lunch and a dinner over our stay and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. The cheeseboard was excellent. Very impressed with being offered fresh milk in a flask for our room tea and coffee.
